I have written over 80 works for a variety of different ensembles, ranging from short solo works to large scale tone poems, operas, and symphonic works. Details of some of my more significant works can be found below. Music is available for purchase either directly from myself or from the publisher/distributor. Sonata for Flute & Piano (2014)

This work in three movements was commissioned by my former student Isabelle Ashton, who asked for a work which could be performed for her Diploma, or for auditions. The work uses the extreme ranges of the flute, with some pitch-bending requirements, but does not use microtones – it can be played on open-holed or closed-hole flutes. Overall performance time is just over 13 minutes. Commissions

I accept large or small commissions, depending on the requirements of my clients. I have written short solo works for young students, and operas for a large-scale cast and orchestra.

My first major commission was from Northamptonshire’s County Youth Theatre, then part of the County Council, now a part of the Northampton Music & Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT) for an opera involving every student from the Saturday morning centres, two dance groups, the newly-formed Youth Theatre and the County Youth Orchestra.

Since then, I have written two further operas, several chamber works and several more solo works as commissions form groups and individual musicians and students.
